Recent outbreaks of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and other serious communicable diseases have intensified the need to review cleaning procedures in New Zealand based on advice from health authorities such as Ministry of Health, Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

As we move into Level 2, cleaning and disinfecting your premises whether it is your home or workplace has become an essential measure to ensure that they are safe from COVID-19 and to quickly return them to normal use. Sanitary measures such as regular cleaning and disinfecting of your homes and offices have become very important because COVID-19 can be easily transmitted from person to person as scientific evidence confirms that it spreads by droplets. We have identified a specific and highly recommended EPA registered disinfectant product called “GermShield Surface Protectant and Sanitiser” that is compatible with our high-end spraying equipment and have proven effective against a wide variety of bacteria, viruses and other common disease bacteria such as MRSA, Norovirus and H1N1 Type viruses. GermShield technology bonds to the surface by creating a protective shield. The antibacterial coating destroys most germs that come in contact with the surface. This coating is effective up to 90 days and is recommended to use for your home and workplace.

Deep Specialized Cleaning

The purpose of this specialized deep cleaning is to protect all key touch points. It includes a standard clean of your entire premise. Cleaning the premise properly before disinfecting is highly recommended, as germs can hide underneath dirt and other material on surfaces where they are not affected by the disinfectant. Dirt and organic material can also reduce the germ-killing ability of some disinfectants. 

Our trained cleaning teams will then disinfect all touch points with a special product called “GERM SHIELD” to create a protective coat to shield the surface from various harmful bacteria and viruses. This specialized service will also include vacuuming of floors and soft furniture. We can accommodate other service requests as an addition to this cleaning service if required.

ULV Fogging Service

Our specialized ULV Fogging Service can be added on to any of our other cleaning services.The purpose of this clean is to protect all key touch points and sanitize large and hard to access areas. Using a ULV Fog Mister our cleaning teams will spray and mist areas everything up to two (2) metres high including walls, glass, and under furniture in full PPE gear.

For combating airborne pathogens and disinfecting large areas that require rapid re-entry of treated areas, fogging is an ideal solution. Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) disinfection fogging involves using a fogger machine to generate a cloud of extremely small droplets of a disinfectant liquid. The application of disinfectants and biocides using this method can significantly reduce the number of pathogens both on surfaces and in the air. This service also includes surface cleaning based on CDC guidelines and all common touch points mentioned below. No occupancy in the room for at least 2 hours after fogging to allow the products to settle in and disinfect the area so we recommend this to be done after hours.

Our teams will maintain social distancing and it is recommended that the premises are vacated during the cleaning service or alternatively we can do after-hours service. We recommend our clients’ to isolate themselves during the service if they are present at the premise during the cleaning. All communication and requests are managed by our office staff over the phone and they will adequately direct the team with your requirements via a detailed checklist. Our teams will also ensure to change their appropriate protective gear between services and continue sanitizing themselves regularly before and after each service for their health and safety.
